Legislature Votes to Cover Telemedicine Visits
Posted: March 19 2009
A bill that requires health insurers to cover the cost of telemedicine visits recently passed the New Hampshire Senate and is on its way to the state's House of Representatives. Supporters maintain that the bill would lower health care costs and provide better care in rural areas. Opponents, however, question whether the bill would drive up premiums and spark an increase in unsupervised experimental medicine.
