Nevada: Govenor Names HIT Panel

A new state task force will recommend how to implement a health information technology (HIT) network in Nevada. Gov. Jim Gibbons appointed 16 government officials, health care providers and business leaders to the panel, which is funded through a federal stimulus grant. The panel will make its recommendations by April 30.
