Posted: July 13 2009

Insurer Will Cover Virtual Doctor Visits
Posted: March 23 2009
Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota will begin paying for virtual doctor visits this fall when it lets 10,000 employees and their dependents connect with a doctor for live, online consultations. In return for a flat fee, doctors in the program will use videocams or instant messaging to diagnose and treat patients during 10-minute visits.
