    California HIE Information Collection Tool
    Posted: August 2009
The State of California is requesting providers' guidance (including long-term care) as it establishes operational and governance models for statewide health information exchange (HIE). As a California Stakeholder, your perspective is critical. Please take a moment and inform the HIE planning process by participating in our newly-launched information collection tool. The tool is specifically designed to help us:

  • Understand your current and planned HIE activities and interests
  • Understand what role you believe the State should play in supporting HIE exchanges
  • Identify general considerations the State should incorporate in its HIE planning process
