Healthcare Technology Solutions To Enhance Senior Care

The baby boomers segment represents a tremendous opportunity for companies in the healthcare technology arena. These consumers continue to be involved in the lives of their children and families while also caring for elderly parents. In many cases, their elder parents live in a different town or state, which places a burden on the boomers to stay on top of their parent’s evolving healthcare needs.

Boomers prefer to keep their parents living independently for as long as possible given the research that has shown seniors are better off “aging in place”. The challenge for boomers becomes how can they enable their parents to live on their own when they can not be there or available all the time to manage the senior’s growing health issues.

Intuitive Care Advisors collaborated with Stepping Stone Partners to understand the mindset of the boomer audience, their role as a caregiver and their needs for healthcare technology.
