Technology incentive proposal endorsed
Posted: March 23 2009
Senate Bill 920, legislation pending in Arkansas, would offer financial incentives to companies and universities that develop new technologies. If enacted, the measure would establish the Technology Acceleration Fund, which would help create, attract or keep information technology, alternative energy and biotechnical businesses in the state. Money for the initiative would come from either the state's budget surplus or federal stimulus money.
